City of Dripping Springs Parks Master Plan Open House - January 16th

Tiger Splash Members,

Happy New Year!

This Friday several of our swimmers will be heading to Victoria to participate in the Winter Games of Texas Swim meet (WGOT).  We wish all of our athletes as well as Coach Alexa who is joining them the best of luck.

Tiger Splash is a non-profit organization that was created to support the future of swimming, but also to focus on water safety and to strengthen the community in which we live.  The City of Dripping Springs is fortunate to have a City pool.  Tiger Splash is fortunate to have access to the City pool.  With that, while we would love to have the opportunity to serve every member of our community, we must acknowledge Dripping Springs and surrounding areas have grown very quickly.  The Tiger Splash swim team reaches maximum capacity within hours of opening our registration.  We simply cannot meet the needs of the community with the current pool facility options in the area.

This Thursday, the City of Dripping Springs is having an open house; the City wants to know how they can support the community.  We are looking for our members to participate by either attending the open house, or by providing feedback to the City.  We want you to be honest.  You may want a dog park, pickle ball courts, or a place to ride a dirt bike.  You may also want a place where we can further expand the Tiger Splash Swim Team and the Dripping Spring High School Aquatics Program. You may feel it is important for the Community to have access to water safety courses, water polo, diving, aquatic rehab, water aerobics, aquatic senior citizen programs,  aquatic special needs programs, and aquatic physical education inclusion for our home school community.

Please join us for the at Ranch park for the Dripping Springs Parks, Recreation, & Open Space Master Plan Open House on Thursday, January 16th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
