Hi Parents, 

In this email you will find a number of important details to prepare you for tomorrow’s swim meet.

Heat Sheets- Attached to this email is the heat sheet for tomorrow’s meet, organized by your swimmer’s last name. This sheet lists your swimmer’s event, heat, and lane numbers.

Marking Swimmers- Reminder that your swimmer should be marked with a sharpie (event, heat, lane). Below is a picture of how your swimmer should be marked...left arm. We recommend you pack your own sharpie.

Schedule- 

7:00am- Setup (Any help appreciated)

7:15am- Check-in and Warm-Ups begin (by Session)

8:00am- Meet Starts

12:00pm- Meet Ends (Take-down help appreciated)

Results- parents can follow the meet results live using the SwimTopia App Pro. On the main SwimTopia app page, scroll down to Events and select the TimeTrials Meet. Below your swimmer’s events, you will find a button to start a free SwimTopia Pro trial (see picture below). Select that button, and on that same page you will be able to access the live swim meet and track the events and results in real time. (After the free trial, the app is $2.49/mo during the season...basically $5.00 total for our 2-month season)

No Shows- We understand that life happens and plans change with little notice. If for whatever reason your swimmer will not be at the swim meet, Please Please Please email us as soon as you know. It will save us significant effort to remove your swimmer from their events before the meet starts.

Weather- There is a chance of rain for tomorrow. Please pack appropriately for all weather...sun, rain, hail, blizzard, etc.

Games- We recommend you bring games, coloring books, etc for your swimmers to pass the time when not racing.

P.S. - TAAF has announced a change to the Regional Swim Meet date. The meet is now scheduled for July 10th at Land Park in New Braunfels. (It was previously scheduled for July 17th). More details to follow.
