Nitro Swimming is a fantastic facility and a huge supporter of Tiger Splash!  They have offered us pool time to use for bonus blocks practice on Wednesday, July 3rd from 3-4pm.   This practice does not replace regular team practice, it is an additional opportunity for swimmers, especially those planning on attending Regionals or State.  We will also have a date next week for bonus blocks, we are coordinating availability.  If transportation there is an issue, text me at 512-650-0799, and I can try to help with carpooling.

4th of July--There is no practice on the 4th of July.  Happy Birthday, United States of America!

Countdown to State Adjusted Practices

All Swimmers are still welcome to practice for the entire season.

Any swimmer interested in continuing to practice and all swimmers who qualify for the TAAF State Swim Meet (by placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in an individual or relay event at the Regional Meet) will continue practicing through the month of July until the State Meet (July 25th - July 28th). Following the Regional Meet on July 13th, practice times will be adjusted due to a reduced number of swimmers.

July 15th-July 24th Monday through Thursday

All 10 & Under swimmers will have practice including drylands from from

6:30-7:45pm (6&Under will end at 7:15pm)

All 11 & Up swimmers will have practice including drylands from from

7:30 -9:00pm (7:30-7:45 is drylands/deck stretches)

Color Splash Meet Results

Thanks to all of our swimmers, parents, and volunteers for an awesome Color Splash swim meet! Team Tie Dye narrowly beat Team Neon...it came down to the last race.  Thanks for the great sportsmanship and great swimming!  Results are posted on the website. As a reminder, to access results:

Regionals and State

Regional/State Intent Form are in and we have a record number of swimmers and Masters planning to attend the Regional Meet at Landa Park in New Braunfels on July 13th.  Details will be sent out soon to those attending. 

Please understand that the coaches will make all final decisions on events in an attempt to give each swimmer the best possible chance at Regionals.

Make Reservations for the State Meet. Rooms Blocked for State Meet through 7/17! 

Families won't know if their swimmer qualifies for the State Meet until the Regional Swim Meet at Landa Park on July 13th. However, we were able to block a limited number of rooms at Calvary Court hotel in College Station, TX until July 17th, for those that want to go ahead and reserve:

Make sure you mention Tiger Splash Swim Team when you reserve your room for a group rate of $139 for a room with two fulls. The cancellation policy is 48 hours.

Check Lost and Found!  Please check the cubbies for your lost items. We still have some goggles, towels, and clothes in the lost and found.

Family Folders and Bead Envelopes!  Please check your family folders! Family folders are used to distribute all awards and beads, so please do not remove your family folder from the bucket. Empty bead envelopes should be returned to the front of the bucket to the "Empty Bead Envelopes."

Are Your Volunteer Hours Updated? Thank you to all our volunteers! You are the key to all our practices, events, and meets running smoothly! Each week, we distribute "Give 5" metallic star beads to our swimmers whose families have earned 5 points by volunteering. If you have "filled in" at a meet, please make sure to go back into your account and update your volunteer opportunities to receive credit.
