Regionals Information—Please READ
Parents of Regionals Swimmers-
My apologies for multiple emails clogging your inbox.
There was a mix-up in emails for Landa Park sending information about Regionals. We have it figured out now, but unfortunately, we missed the deadline for the Regional t-shirt order. They said there is a chance we might still be able to get shirts ordered if we let them know ASAP. If you are interested in a Regionals shirt, please let me know how many and what sizes by Tuesday at noon and we will see if we can still be included in the order. If we miss this order, Tiger Splash will be placing an order for the purchase of State shirts for any qualifiers and their families.
Region III Meet Shirts We will be placing our orders for the Region shirts with Big Frog again this year. The below link is where your team can purchase their shirts. It is preferred that your team does one big shirt order if possible. If not, then please be sure to list the team name in the comment box when you are ordering. This is how we will know which team to put the shirt with. To receive your shirts at the meet, you must submit your order online by Sunday, July 8th. We will have them ready for you in a big at the meet. http://bigfrognb.deco-apparel.com/page/shop/landa-park-dolphins
Regionals
Refreshments and merchandise will be available from different vendors.
Admission
$5.00 for spectators over 12 and $4.00 for children ages 3‐12, which includes access to the meet and then to the other recreational pools once they are open to the public at 10:00AM.
Competitors and two coaches from each team will be allowed access at no charge.
Heat sheet programs: will be emailed to the head coach of each team the night before the meet for email distribution. A limited number of heat sheets will be printed and available onsite. Look for the heat sheet in your inbox on Friday.
Ready Bench: Swimmers who fail to report to the ready bench, who are not behind their block in time for the start of their heat (long whistle), or who are not ready to swim (putting on their cap or goggles) may be disqualified for delay of meet. It is NOT the responsibility of the timers, officials, or volunteers to make sure your swimmer steps up and onto the blocks. Prepare your swimmers in advance (whistle start protocol).

Blocks Practice
Just in case anyone missed it I also wanted to send the information about blocks practice one more time before Tuesday.
Sign Up to Attend Starter Block Practice at Nitro To prepare for the Regional meet on Saturday, July 14th, Nitro has graciously invited us to use their starter blocks on Tuesday, July 10th and Thursday, July 12th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM each day. All Tiger Splash swimmers are invited to join this practice—regardless of your participation in Regionals.
Please let us know if your swimmers will be joining us by signing up here.
We understand that these times are during the work day; therefore, you can let us know if your swimmer/s need a ride and from what area.
Also, please let us know if you can take an additional swimmer (or two) and from what area of town.
Lastly, our evening practices at Founder’s Pool will remain as scheduled. Questions? Contact Karen Silcox
Thanks everyone! I will send out more information this week when I have it.
Take care,
Karen
